Ofir Shwartz picture
I am a CPU chip architect at Intel Corporation, working on the next big leaps to come.
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering on 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Yitzhak Birk, and B.Sc. from the Technion on 2007.
During my Ph.D. I was a Hasso Plattner Institut  research fellow.

Past work experience:

  • Intel Corporation, as a physical designer (a practical engineer position).
  • Zoran Semiconductors, as a logic designer.
  • EZchip, as a senior logic designer. Specialized in designing complex and performance oriented hardware.

Research interests:
Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer Security and Cryptography, Parallel Computing (including GPGPU), Big Data.

People often confuse me with Ofir Shwartz (Jazz Pianist). This is reasonable, because we are the same person.
